Privacy Policy
TurboPCB is a Mac and Windows application made by Desirable Apps. It is designed so that your work stays on your computer.
What TurboPCB collects
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers of ours. Your project files are ordinary documents stored where you save them.
Network use you start
Two optional features talk to the internet, only when you use them:
- Web Download fetches the web page whose address you enter so TurboPCB can read the parts list on it. The request goes directly from your computer to that website.
- AI Designer with Claude sends your messages, and any web page you attach, to Anthropic's API using the API key you entered. Anthropic processes that data under your own Anthropic account and Anthropic's privacy policy. Your key is stored in your macOS login Keychain or in Windows Credential Manager and is sent only to api.anthropic.com. AI Designer with Apple Intelligence (Mac only) runs entirely on your Mac and sends nothing anywhere.
When you print on the Mac, macOS may look for printers on your local network. That is the system's printer discovery, and TurboPCB receives nothing from it. On Windows the app writes a PDF file and makes no network request.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in macOS System Settings, Apple may send us anonymised crash reports. On Windows, if your diagnostic data settings allow it, Microsoft may show us anonymised crash and installation statistics for the Store version. Neither contains any project data.
This website
This website is static pages with no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Your web host's server logs may record the usual request details, such as IP address and page requested, for operating the site.
Children
TurboPCB is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
